Our Honeymoon

Mr & Mrs Portus

  Nick and Emma enjoyed a wonderful time in Andorra, at a ski resort, in the mountains. This holiday was the wedding gift from Nick's parents, Roger and Carol.

  Nick was already an advanced skier, whilst Emma had yet to experience the thrills that this week would bring.

  Skiing took place in the mornings, before the sun had time to melt the snow runs. Emma joined the novice group (picture, top centre) and Nick went way up to the top levels ... that explains why there is only one photo with him, in action (Seen below in centre foreground)!

  During the week, there was a spectacular event, called the Big Snow Festival ... and that was a highlight of the evening entertainment.

"Spectacular, but terrifying!"

  As Emma progressed during the week, she commented:
 "My posture is still a bit funny, but I'm so pleased that I passed ... Yay!"
